Quilting Class with Friends
Today I started a quilting class with friends at Joann Fabrics. It was so much fun. We are learning how to do machine quilting. We are making a tote bag. Included in the pictures with me are Rachel, Claire, Lexi, and Sarah. Ann is at the table alone. She moved to the other table for a while so we could all spread out to measure and cut material. Next Tuesday we will use the sewing machine and stitch it together and finish the tote bag. I will show a picture next week.

Beauty in the backyard
Yesterday my mom and I enjoyed gardening in the yard. My aunt came to help for a while. It's always fun picking out and planting flowers and plants. It's amazing the beautiful details God put into his creation. I especially like to sit and read/talk after all of the yard work is complete. My back yard is very peaceful. Last night we got to sit around our new firepit and talk. It was very cozy and a great way to end the day.

Stanley Cup Finals Game 6
Tonight I am watching the 6th game of the Stanley Cup finals. Last year we won the Stanley Cup in game 6 against Pittsburgh. We won 3 games and they have won 2 we only need one more to win the cup. If we win tonight we will have won again in Pittsburgh . I want them to win tonight but I wish they were here to celebrate with their fans. Everyone will celebrate when they do get home.
GO RED WINGS!
P.S. for some reason it is underlining sorry.

Monday, June 1, 2009
I can't believe my brother graduates High school this Sunday. This was his last Monday at school. My mom and I have been going through old pictures today. It's been a lot of fun but so sad. We have been laughing and crying all day. Time goes by so quickly. This reminds me that we need to cherish every day with those we love. I love you Josh!
