It has been a quiet weekend at home. We had some unexpected family health issues so we wern't able to go away for the weekend. We had planned to go to Traverse City.This afternoon i went to blockbuster to get Madagascar to watch.My favorite animal was Alex the lion.
Tomorrow we are going to my Grandparents house for a barbeque. It will be fun my cousins will be there.
Here is a recipe i am going to make. I got it off a Nancy Drew website.
Hannah's Banana Bread
1/3 cup shortening
3/4 cup sugar
1 egg
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 baking soda
1/4 tsp salt
1/3 cup sweet milk
1/2 cup nuts (optional)
1.Cream shortening and sugar, add beaten egg, mashed bananas and milk.
2.Add dry ingredients and nuts alternatively. Bake in greased loaf pan, 1 hour at 350 degrees.
