My 13th Birthday!

Today is my 13th Birthday. It was a great day. The weather was beautiful! It started off with a nice breakfast. My mom made the IHOP recipe pancakes, turkey sausage, hash browns (made by dad) , and fresh fruit. We spent the day outdoors. We went putt putt golfing. We had a late lunch at Pizza Hut, took a long bike ride, and stopped for a visit at my aunt and uncle's house. Then my grandparents came over and we sang and had cake and ice cream. My family relaxed and enjoyed a movie together at home.

We can't forget the presents: I got a new purple camera, a cool pink case for it, a 13 year old girl figurine, (I have been receiving these since I was a baby) , lime green tank top, scarf, pink purse, 5 pairs of earrings, 2 mag subscriptions, a snack basket, 3 magazines, a handmade journal, a gift card to Target and money from grandparents, and sticker book.

I have been collecting American Girl dolls since I was 5. This is the first year I didn't get one. I wanted a camera instead. I am ordering a Ruthie doll with some gift money. I am so thankful for these many gifts I received. We will be celebrating my birthday with relatives in a few weeks. It was a really good day.
